My Bloody Fairy Tale
My favorite halloween memory was when I was trick or treating as a child. My mom took me to one of her friend's houses to get candy, and her friend had taken the window out of his screen door. Not only that, but he put on a gorilla mask and scared the crap out of me by sticking his head through the window after I knocked! I jumped about 6 feet backwards. Too funny :)

One of my favorite memories is going to a bunch of haunted houses/trails with some family members and being the only kid that didn't cry. I was too busy laughing at the others to be scared! ;)

My favorite Halloween memory is when I was about 10 or so. I dressed up as Raggedy Ann. My grandparents took me and my sister camping that weekend with a bunch of their friends and the campground had a big Halloween party. We were able to trick or treat trailer to trailer and I also won best costume for my age group!

One of my favorite Halloween memories is:
When I was little, we would get home, and my Dad would stand at the door and hold his arm down like a toll bridge... and he'd demand payment of snickers and reeses if we wanted to get inside to eat our candy... I always hated and loved it at the same time XD

Thanks for the great giveaway! I follow you with GFC. My favorite Halloween memory as a kid has to be the elementary school Candy Count Project. We would each have a count sheet to use as we counted all our loot from Trick or Treat then we'd all put it together as a class and make a huge wall chart with the information. I know, I sound nerdy but it stuck with me.

I really can't think of much it's weird... When I was little, me and my brother would hide in the bathroom because the trick or treaters were SCARY. And one year, my brother dressed up as Pikachu and this lady didn't know what he was lol. She thought he was some kinda squirrel or something.

My favorite Halloween memory was going to a Halloween party a few years ago kidless. It was great and one of the very few times we have gotten out by ourselves. (Don't worry, the party was the day before Halloween so we were there for the kids :)) I went as the Devil and my hubby was a priest and my sis went as a playboy bunny and my brother in law was Hugh. We had a great night and a lot of fun!!

The first time my daughter said she was a big girl and could walk by herself. I stayed in the van and watched as she went door-to-door trick or treating. She was so proud of herself and I was terrified the whole time.

One of my favorite Halloween memories is actually a few years ago when I my roommate and I carved pumpkins (like 15 of them) set them all out on the porch facing in so we could see the flames flicker in their little mouths (we lived on the 3rd floor so no one else would have been able to enjoy them). We made pumpkin soup, which we had to add like a whole cup of sugar to before we could eat it, and then we sat around watching movies and reading Tarot cards.

My favorite Halloween memory was going out trick-or-treating. It wasn't the actual trick-or-treating part that was fun. I actually hated that part. I'm shy, so I don't like asking people for candy and making small talk about my costume and what I am this year and whether or not I was cold. Rather, it was the atmosphere on my block that was so uplifting. Everyone was excited and it was cold - a rare desert cold. I'd get chilled to my bones and I'd feel like I was riding a high and I was always so energetic. I never wanted to come inside after we finished trick-or-treating.
