My most treasured memory was the first Christmas I got to spend with my grandmother after she beat the cancer doctors told her she would only survive for three years. After spending many years on the other side of the country, she finally got to come home, and it was the best Christmas ever.
I'm partial to the Adult, but I would like the YA too, since I have 5 teens.

For me, the best thing of winter is sitting inside warm with all the family after a day out playing in the snow!
My most treasured winter memories are those days when I was snowed in with my sons...especially near Christmas when the tree is lit and the fireplace is blazing. I would like to win The Altar of Bones, by Philip Carter
Thanks,
Teresa
My most treasured memories are building snowmen with my son. Last year we made snowmen sitting around a campfire roasting snowballs. It is so much fun. I would like the adult arc. I am a gfc follower.

Most treasured winter memory? Snow days! Waking up only to find a fresh blanket of snow covering the ground, the news stations scrolling your school's name across the bottom of the screen, then going back to bed for a while before a day of sledding and snowmen!
Thanks for the giveaway...happy holidays!

My most treasured winter memory is the Christmas when I was ten years old. My dad got a big bonus, and me and my brother got most of the things we wanted, which was unusual since we were poor growing up.

My youngest was a newborn at Christmastime, and my middle son received a soft Mr. Potato head. We took the felt pieces, like the blue felt glasses and the red hat, and dressed the new baby as Mr. Potato head for a picture. It was so cute. Reminds me of when I dressed my younger sister in my Cabbage Patch doll's clothes the year she was born.

Merry Christmas
How are you liking this snow storm?? I'm on the Cape. Yuck! Anyway, my most precious Christmas memory is my oldest son's first Christmas. He was born six weeks early, Dec 6th and I had no idea if we'd get to bring him home before Christmas. We did and I have a picture of him in a preemie Christmas outfit, still looking like a newborn on my shoulder while the rest of the kids screamed and tore through their presents. My cousin (my age) had a daughter born in August and she and I just sat back and watched the commotion and rocked and nursed and loved our babies together, just about the same age difference as she and I are. It was one of my best Christmas memories.

When my husband and I were dating he said we were going to see Christmas lights and something else. I didn't catch the something else, it was sledding and I wore impractical boots. My feet were so frozen that I couldn't feel them. When I told him, he rubbed the circulation back into my feet. That was when I realized that I loved him. I follow I'm gfc . ke7yca(at)gmail(dot)com

Winter Memory: When I got back home from a semester up in Oregon one of my high school guy friend wanted to hangout with me and my other friends out of the blue.We keep in touch like texting and facebook. In high school I had a huge crush on him, but he was dating another girl, so i kept to myself and tried to move on. So winter time came and this is so cheesy but my first kiss with him was because there was a mistletoe and i will always remember that and we started going out after that and still been together for 1 year and 2 months :)

My treasured winter memories are of me and my brother running around the house in our so called special "running socks". Once you put them on they made you want to run like a mad man. I also treasured the times when we would get down Christmas decorations. The smell. The old old decorations and other misc we only brought out once a year.
I prefer the Adult books, but I love YA.

Hi there,
I am a follower, would love the YA prize.
My most treasured winter memory goes back many years. I went to Europe to visit family for the holidays. While I was away my future hubby spent his time refinishing a cedar chest for me and we got engaged when I returned. That was 32 years ago and I still have that cedar chest.
A favorite winter memory of mine is of making snow angels with my daughter when she was 4.

I was still in high school, my dad worked retail so of course he was busy, but this year we had over a foot by Christmas Eve and nobody was getting out and we got to spend a beautiful holiday all together and just relax and have fun.
